Kenneth Arnold describes his flying saucer sighting of June 24, 1947 which started the modern era of UFO reports. Additional chapters detail Mr. Arnold's involvement in researching other flying saucer reports of the late 1940's throughout the 1950s. The co-author, Ray Palmer, was the publisher of Fate magazine at the time this book was published.
