About This Book

The library has 23 works by the authors, of the more than 30 published by them. Among the gems on display are copies of Travels in Brazil, in the years 1817-1820: undertaken by command of His Majesty the King of Bavaria, the Dictionary of dialects and indigenous languages spoken in Brazil and one of the 40 volumes of Flora Brasiliensis, enumeratio plantarum in Brasilia hactenus detectarum by Martius.
