Hombrucher Heimatgeschichte

The 'Hombrucher Heimatgeschichte' provides an overview of Hombruch, a suburb of the German city of Dortmund, from its beginnings to the mid 1970s. A major focus lies on the industrialization of a formerly rural area during the eighteen- and nineteenhundreds, driven by coal mining and steel. The book includes a number of rare pictures and illustrations and was published by Dortmund born historian Karl-Heinz Strothmann in 1974.
