About This Book

This is I believe a companion book that the salespeople for the Seng Furniture Company, based out of Chicago, IL., carried along with them, and may have handed out to customers. Kind of like a early version of the reader's digest.
My great-great-grandfather, Wendelin Seng, was the founder of what eventually was called "The Seng Company". His sons, including my great-grandfather, Wendelin P. (W. P.) Seng, operated the company along with many Seng family members, including W. P.'s son, (and my grandfather), W. C. Seng, Sr.
Unfortunately, one family member decided that no more Seng's, (or, I assume, other family members like the Bichel's, etc) were allowed to join the family business. Eventually the company was merged with some other company. For more detailed information I can put you in contact with my uncle.

Michael Seng.
