Report of the Committee on Interstate Exchange of Legislative Service Publications (revised October 10, 1955)

The prompt, efficient, and economical distribution of Legislative Service Agency publications had long been considered a serious problem. In recognition of the difficulties involved, the Legislative Service Conference at its 1953 session in New Orleans adopted a resolution to submit a plan to the 1954 conference in San Francisco to work on a manual for publications, and the conference directed that a successor committee be appointed to work out the details of a definite plan.
