Share in the celebration!

This learning and activity guide for elementary students gives ideas for how to celebrate National Aboriginal Day on June 21. Three characters--Elisapie, Benjamin, and Pauline--provide information on Aboriginal culture, including achievements, traditional knowledge, and celebration of the summer solstice. Puzzles and games reinforce the concepts presented. The guide also includes some crafts and recipes from the three Aboriginal groups: First Nations, Metis, and Inuit.
