"The 2010 Norwegian Red List for Species is the official survey of threatened or near threatened species in Norway, prepared by the Norwegian Biodiversity Information Centre in collaboration with 26 expert comities from scientific institutions. The Red List includes species in mainland Norway, in Norwegian waters and on the arctic island group Svalbard. The evaluations in the 2010 Norwegian Red List are based on guidelines from the International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN). In the process of making the Red List 21.000 species have been evaluated. Of these 4599 have been included in the Red List.
