About This Book
Respondents for this study formed a cross-section sample of citizens aged 18 years and older living in the United States. The study contains a weight variable. The survey, a post-election interview (November-December l975), probed respondents' attitudes toward the mass media (television and newspapers) as well as examined the respondents' political behavior. Areas covered included TV and newspaper use patterns, respondents' perceptions of issues raised in the media, and the importance of current political issues and personalities, including Watergate and the Nixon resignation and pardon.
