Shadows over Time

Three generations of women come together for the first time in years when Ellie, an artist, invites her estranged mother and grandmother to her first major art exhibition in Berlin. Ellie's paintings are hailed as a brave confrontation of Germany's tumultuous 20th century, but for her family the paintings reflect more personal matters.
