"Let's get engaged--just temporarily!" It had seemed a good solution when Jill suggested it. Ninian Moray had returned home after being declared officially dead for two years--to find his twin brother now married to Ninian's former fiancee. Also, Jill needed a face-saver for a problem of her own. But somehow or other, what was to have been an unsentimental alliance on both sides didn't turn out that way.
