About This Book
This research work comprises three large chapters. The first is a classification and a consideration of the North of Mexico. It emphasizes and focuses on what for this research considers the North, in addition, it uses the classification of the super-cultural areas prepared by Paul Kirchhoff in 1943. A second chapter, more focused towards issues merely of the Northern landscape, describes how the spatial configuration (and climate), mold cultural and social aspects. The third chapter establishes that architecture, in particular traditional architecture, is the tangible element that emerges from the knowledge of natural issues, above all climate and more than a landscape element: traditional architecture is a conscious and suitable social representation for human comfort and safety requirements.
