About This Book

The Sandy family lived in California in the 1950s. All that has been preserved of them are some slides found in a flea market, Daniela Franco has undertaken to reconstruct the story of the family with the help of those who in one way or another remember them, including an invitation to writers (three members of the legendary French literary group Oulipo) to recreate their family life. The accidental and sometimes bad photographs taken by the mysterious Mr. Sandy turned out to be an interesting, relevant, and mysterious story (or stories) of a family, that throughout the help of others was rediscovered.
