About This Book
Michael Lange (b. 1873) and his wife Nita Bentwich settled in Zikhron Ya'acov, Israel in 1913. Nita's sister, Lilian Bentwich (b. 1882), married Israel Friedlander (1876-1920) in 1905, probably in New York. They had six children. Lilian and her children moved to Israel in 1922. Lilian built Beth Daniel as a memorial to her son Daniel Friedlander (1918-1936) and as a holiday home for musicians in 1938.
