Yiddish books from the Harvard College Library

Reproduces over 2600 works, extending from ethical works published in the early 18th century to literary works published in the mid-20th century. The largest section, Yiddish literature, includes poetry, drama, fiction, humor and satire, miscellaneous prose, and contains dozens of otherwise inaccessible 19th century popular novels, confiscated Soviet publications of the 1930's, and out-of-print literary anthologies and scholarly studies of the interwar period in Poland.
