This "coffee table edition" is a snapshot of the Savannah Police Department as it existed at the beginning of the year 2000. There is a historical narrative of roughly 30,000 words written by the listed author (me). However compiling and identifying the photos was a team effort.

People like Bucky Burnsed, Sgt. David Jones (Ret.), Det. Clifford Perry, Sgt. John White (Ret.), Det. Bob Jeter (Ret.), and others came together to search their collective memories to identify many of the photos.
