Autobiography of Lucy (Goodale) Thurston (1795-1876), who was born in Marlborough, Massachusetts, and married Rev. Asa Thurston in 1819. They were among the pioneer missionaries to the natives of the Sandwich Islands (later called the Hawaiian Islands). Includes much history of the natives and the islands during much of the nineteenth century.
