Journal of a voyage to Quebec in the year 1825

Written in flowery language with a definite religious tone - but includes a unique 1st person narrative of the War of 1812, in particular the American attack on Fort York in April of 1813. Patrick Finan was a 10 year old boy at the time, and he witnessed the whole thing up close, then was forced to flee on foot to Kingston.
