"Enchanted Lines showcases drawings from the Aga Khan Museum's collection and celebrates famous artists in Iran, India, and Central Asia such as Behzad, Reza-e ʻAbbasi, Moʻin Mosavvir, and Mansur from the 16th and 17th centuries, the golden age of the art of the book. Some of the greatest artists of their time worked in court orkshops to produce--and sign--the drawings presented in this book, which focuses ttention on how the artists created their drawings, what techniques and media they used, and what kind of culture and society they were part of."
