Prior to the recent remarkable advance in prices of wool and mutton, sheep raising in New England was comparatively unprofitable, but now, under certain conditions, a revival of the industry seems desirable. This bulletin tells briefly how the industry was organized in 1914, and discusses the difficulties to be met in expanding the business, with special reference to improvement in breeding stock, better care, and more efficient disease control."--Page 2.
