About This Book

Jacob Alpron, a rabbi and teacher of children, lived in Padua, Venice and other places in the between 1500 and 1600. He dedicated himself to the dissemination of the norms concerning the correct behavior of members of the Jewish religion; first writing in Hebrew, then translating Hebrew to Yiddish and finally translating from that language to Italian. On his life and works, the author, of partial Jewish origin, who has to his credit other publications related to that era and that culture, has now conducted a thorough research leading to the discovery of new findings.
