Líneas de la NO libertad

The series of drawings "Los Grises" (The Grey), by artist Javier de Villota b. Madrid), documents the police repression of the last years (1968-1975) of the dictatorship of Francisco Franco. In dialogue with such series, photojournalists and artists, both Spanish as Chilean, contribute to a story that invites "not to forget", not only the violence and the cruelty but also the resistance and the exercise of the human rights. Participating artists include: Javier de Villota (Madrid, 1942), Manel Armengol (Barcelona, 1949), Marco Ugarte (Santiago de Chile, 1958) y Juan Carlos Cáceres (Santiago de Chile, 1956), José Balmes (Barcelona, 1927), Gracia Barrios (Santiago, 1927), Guillermo Núñez (Santiago, 1930) and Roser Bru (Barcelona, 1923). Participating photojournalists include Marco Ugarte (Santiago de Chile, 1958), Manuel Armengo (Barcelona, 1949) and Juan Carlos Cáceres (Santiago de Chile, 1956)
