Alles Ist Kaputt

2Lt John Robert logged verses, cartoons, and other items that he would like to glance at once he gained freedom. He wrote that if he ever feels that life is not worthwhile, he can glance through the pages of this book and appreciate freedom and things in life that had been taken for granted. Along the way, the captured prisoners learned some German phrases. One of John Robert’s favorite phrases was “Alles ist kaputt.”
