One broken dream

Nurse Christine Henderson had begun to dream of a happy ending to her romance with Doctor Norman Turner but then he met, and fell in love with, her beautiful older sister, Helen. It was unfortunate that his colleague, David Bannister, should guess her secret. She bitterly resented his continued attempts to provide a sympathetic shoulder for her to cry on when it seemed that her two other glamorous sisters were, in turn, monopolising the new men in her life.
