Samuel Webber

Samuel Webber was born in 1760 in Massachusetts. He entered Harvard in 1780 as a student and spent the next 30 years allied with the school as teacher, student, and then university president. In 1789 he married Rebecca Smith and they had seven children. From 1806 til his death in 1810 he served as president of Harvard University.
