Indigeneity

This book is the first of two volumes that present selections from the proceedings of the Chotro Conference held in New Delhi, India, in January 2008 at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts. The conference was organized as a collaborative event by Bhasha Research and Publication Centre (BRPC), Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), European Association for Commonwealth Literature and Language Studies (EACLALS) as well as Indian Association for Commonwealth Literature and Language Studies (ICIALS). This volume discusses the anxieties, deprivations, imaginings and the creative contribution of indigenous communities from across the world.
