Jennifer Castillo tells the story of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire, describing the factory’s history, its poor safety conditions and commemorating its immigrant garment worker victims. She includes speculation that building owners Isaac Harris and Max Blanck intentionally set the fire to collect over $60,000 of insurance money.
