About This Book

This volume of writings by Romanian-Israeli litterateur and critic Iosef Eugen Campus consists of two parts. The first collects critical essays on Romanian and Israeli literature written between 2005 and his death, while the second contains autobiographical writings, including reminiscences of his childhood, a journal documenting his experiences as a student at Hebrew University in 1934-1935, and an essay written while recuperating in hospital after a fall in 2007.
