Stereo infrared landscapes

"Beneath the world's apparent disorder you can find a subtle order. Infrared film helps penetrate behind the veil, while stereo adds a mysterious dimension of its own. The combination is meant to take your breath away and in return give you back a sense of wonder. Notice also that while an exotic location makes the process easier, a couple of these pictures were taken right in front of my apartment during the least likely time of year. The book is illustrated with 14 pairs of photographs taken on infrared film using a Stereo Realist camera from the 1950s. When looked at with a stereo viewer, each side-by-side pair appears three-dimensional, and the infrared glow adds to the other-worldliness.
