Deterministic analysis of operational events in nuclear power plants

This publication addresses analytical deterministic methods that are being used to simulate operational events. Such deterministic transient analyses can help to better understand the phenomena occurring during specific events, to identify the event causes, to clarify the impact of operator and automatic actions and to determine plant safety margins during the event.
