Adventures of a Jelly Baby

In this charming memoir, award-winning actress Judy Cornwell describes her childhood in Britain and Australia, and her return to Britain aged twelve. She went on to become a professional dancer and comedienne, before turning to acting. Her career included roles in such diverse productions as radio's The Navy Lark, the controversial musical Oh, What A Lovely War, and a season with the Royal Shakespeare Company, and she has appeared in many films. Her most recent television role was Daisy in Keeping Up Appearances. She paints a colourful picture of the characters, camaraderie and rivalries of life backstage.
