About This Book

This work presents more than 2000 different spectacles from the Hallauer Collection (to-day in the Museum for the History of Medicine in Bern/Switzerland), from the Zeiss Collection in Oberkochen/Germany and from the Marly Collection in Paris. There is a second volume called Art and Spectacles. W. Poulet is the pseudonyme used by Jean-Paul Wayenborgh. There was also a third volume which was published only in German. The other volumes (1 & 2) were published in French, German and Japanese.
