Included are front and profile portraits of men and women, group portraits, and scenes of daily life illustrating traditional costume and activities; also, views of dwellings, granaries, towns, and landscapes. Aztec, Tlaxcalan, Otomi, Tarascan, Cuicatec, Mixtec, Zapotec, Juave, Triqui, and other tribes are represented.
