About This Book

Collective exhibition of the artwork of 100 Latin American artists created since 1975. The event was based on the museographic idea of curator and art historian Elvia Rosa Castro, who focused the exhibition on the conceptual art representations of the complex relationship between image and text. The selection included works from the holdings of Casa de las Américas, Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, other private and public collections of works by important names like: Wesley Duke Lee, Clemente Padín, León Ferrari, José Bedia, Luis Camnitzer, Liliana Porter, Alfredo Sosabravo, Nelson Leirner, Carlos Montes de Oca, Luc Chesseux, Antonio Eligio Fernandez (Tonel), Carlos Garaicoa, Yornel Martínez, Iván Capote, Fayad Jams, Roberto Diago, Umberto Pea, amongst others.
