To the people of Cologne it seemed like a message from a better world, when Josef Haubrich handed over his treasures to the city of Cologne in 1946. This art was once thought lost. Now it toured in a triumphant wandering exhibition through Germany and Europe. Today it is housed in the Museum Ludwig.
