The work has as much to do with the improvement of German life as it does with that of its women: if the former occurs, the latter will follow. The author therefore discusses not only such themes as marriage (early or late?), women and religion, and the raising of children, but also the improvement of German industry, an increase in the export of German goods, and free trade.
