Anatole's Story

"His life was focused on a cause bigger than himself-that of sharing a love for all kinds of people, and then sharing the Gospel with them. He was committed to the God of the Bible. And that commitment took him on a venture into the almosst forbidden land along the bayous." That is the way author Polly Broussard Martin remembers her father-in-law, Anatole Martin, who was instrumental in bringing the Protestant faith to South Louisiana. Mrs. Martin describes Anatole's missionary work among the Houmas Indians and his bayou neighbors.
