We wrote this book with twelve hands: six friends, priests, and lay people. We studied and prayed a great deal, exchanged abundant and valuable insights until we finally put ourselves in Joseph's shoes and had the audacity to tell his story in the first person: it's him who speaks!

It shows us the intimacy of his home: his life of work and prayer, with its sorrows and joys, always luminous, for he remained constantly "close" to Jesus and Mary. And it presents us with the greatness of the ordinary tasks, which are never irrelevant, for they ensure, as he himself tells us, a boundless and happy life both here and there, forever.
