"Fêted man of sea" -10- (Page 78)

Fishermen sailed to nearest shore

Now with stylish dolphin lore

When Johnny saw them again

While plunging, they spewed, in strain

As Noah spout more red than white

The angler's alarm came back to haunt

Johnny wondered: "Was he bleeding?"

"Now, my help, will he be needing?"

He raced the craft straight for them

For secure havens, they sang and ran

Once more, they dipped up and down

O, how they tossed and thrashed around

As the flipper's troops came to meet

Johnny saw them herd and greet

They, then fell in rows heading home

Dolphin and man, had friendship sown!
