As summer vacation comes to an end, Love Bukowski faces her junior year at Hadley Hall with some trepidation as she tries to cope with her favorite aunt's struggle with cancer, her father's continuing remoteness, lost friendships, a faded romance, and being responsible for hosting the new exchange student from London.
