Worlds in a bottle

This book is a catalogue covering an exhibition at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, of Chinese art, combining inside painted snuff bottles from ca.1800-present, and paintings, in scroll, album leaf or fan format, from ca.1560-present. there are also a few other objects, illustrating the same themes. 95 snuff bottles, 28 scrolls, 14 album leaves, 14 fan paintings, 4 paintings, 3 photos, and 4 other complementary objects are illustrated [a 19th C. fibre fishing cape & hat, an 18th C. scholar's staff, and a 19th C. biandan (carrying stick and baskets].
