Luis Ospina

Through the District Stimulus Portfolio, the Fundación Gilberto Alzate awards a prize to develop a historical curatorship that gives research and the curatorial field of Colombian art a perspective of novel analysis. The tenth edition of the prize was awarded to Guillermo Vanegas, whose research is concretized in a critical approach to the work of Luis Ospina from the theory of contemporary art and the various sociopolitical circumstances of the historical period throughout fifty years of production of one of the most influential filmmakers in the history of Colombian cinema.
