Wee Malkie

A boy who learns to stand up to bullying, by trusting his instincts and being himself. Malkie's new step-brother makes his life a misery, but hides it from the parents. When Malkie finally reaches a breaking point and lashes out, they all think it is his fault, and he sent to stay with an aunt in the countryside. In the remote cottage, among the chickens and the vegetable garden, Aunt Jean shows Malkie his true value. As his muscles build up with the daily work, he learns a new strength of characte, not of brute force. His problems don't go away, but with his new maturity, he is able to bring about resolutions.
