From 1965 to 1980, before WE Butterworth became WEB Griffin, best-selling author of war and police procedural novels, he wrote books for teen-aged boys. They were interesting, well-written, and contained sage advice without being didactic. This is one of them, teaching the perils of dangerous driving, together with an inside look at stock car racing.
