About This Book
This is a verse-play by the pioneer of the theater of Bangladesh, Natyaguru Nurul Momen. It was written in 1956. It has only male characters. It was written originally in English by Natyaguru Nurul Momen in 1953. It had an additional 1st scene in the English version "We are Brothers All". This scene in rich English verse, depicts an interaction between a nuclear scientist and his assistant. In as early as 1953, it had very prophetic predictions about nuclear science.
This play was performed at the Curzon Hall in Dhaka at the Commonwealth Universities' Vice Chancellor's conference in 1953. Watching this play the official comment of the VCs were, "We knew that Rabindranath Tagore was a genius from this part of the world, but we did not know that Nurul Momen was another such."
