The drainage of wet soils

Dermot Bowler worked in extension services to farmers at Massey University, Palmerston North, New Zealand prior to about 1980. He also taught in the Bachelor of Agricultural Science degree program. This book describes the application of soil science and agricultural engineering to drain wet land with the aim of making this land agriculturally productive. It is a useful summary of applied knowlege and practical experience strongly rooted (pun intended) in soil science.
