Traveling waves on transmission systems

This book gathers into compact and usable form theories of transient voltage phenomena on electric power transmission lines and in transformer windings. Although it is oriented to the problem of the transmission of lighting impulses and, consequently, to the design of lightning-proof transmission lines, it surveys theory that is applicable to a wide range of wave phenomena relevant to power and telecommunication lines.
