About This Book
This issue ends the activities of the school year. Alumni and faculty contribute articles on topics such as; extension education in New Jersey and Nova Scotia, sugar cane production in Cuba, and the work of the Agent-General for Ontario. The departments of apiculture, bacteriology, botany, and chemistry provide updates on their agricultural research and extension work conducted on campus. Reprinted in this issue is an article discovered by Thomas Brown from an 1873 issue of the "Canadian Farmer" regarding the Ontario Agricultural College. Student contributions include articles on the profitability of cheese manufacturing and processing honey without crystallization. Campus news consists of year-end results for the sports teams. The Macdonald Institute column provides a humorous short story on a county fair. While the Alumni column contains alumni updates.
