Colette Gauthier Myles is a French expatriate who was born in Paris in 1935. This first volume of the memoirs include family histories beginning with a letter from 1811, and through both World Wars until 1953, with much of it set in Paris and environs during World War II. Illustrated with family photographs, maps and mementos, and featuring popular songs quoted in both English and French.
