The Dash Between Two Dates

Mel left a strong, secure pastorate in Pensacola, Florida at age 45 to answer God's missionary call to the Philippines. It was a large step of faith for him and a sacrifice for his family. It proved to be a transition honored by the Holy Spirit. They planted the LaLoma Baptist Church Sept. 1980 and their Bible Institute in 1982. Today there are over 100 churches and 60 Bible Institutes their graduates have planted there in the Philippines. Institutes using their curriculum can be found in 62 other countries.
