Non-military threats to security

This publication contains a selection of international conventions, protocols, and resolutions, mainly those of the United Nations, but also including some African Union conventions. The main emphasis is on the post-Cold War period, although some documents originate in the preceding time period. The main objective of this publication is to provide excerpts from the key multilateral documents relating to so-called "non-military" or "non-traditional" threats to national and global security.
